EZO — Pattern of Value
Solved a real problem
EZO’s real constraint wasn’t patching or inventory — it was fragmentation. The market treated software, vulnerabilities, and devices as separate problems, making scale structurally impossible. The work focused on collapsing that false separation into a single, addressable system.
Made it repeatable
Insight became system through an AI-driven matching layer (semantic entity resolution) that converted noisy, inconsistent software catalog data into deterministic structure. This removed pre-determined condition and extensive human curation from the loop and turned a one-time breakthrough into an always-on capability.
Taught the pattern
The organization absorbed the model through shared primitives: platform spines, telemetry, and playbooks that aligned product, engineering, and go-to-market around the same mental model of risk, coverage, and value. The separate Products became a single platform.
Measured the compound
Outcomes persisted without direct intervention: coverage expanded by orders of magnitude, time-to-value collapsed, and release velocity increased — not as isolated wins, but as stable system behavior that continued after the work stepped back.
